I have entered into contracts with third parties – e.g., the website hosting service World4You. I use the WordPress blogging software and various plugins and widgets for my website. These third-party providers supply me with information technology and storage services, blogging software, plugins and widgets to improve the functionality of my website, as well as communication services.
Data collected by my hosting service (World4You) and my blogging software (WordPress) is used for the proper operation of my website, to enable me to communicate with you, ensure the functionality of my website, and to facilitate your navigation through my website.
I have installed WP Statistics, a GDPR-compliant analytics tool that does not store any cookies on your computer. WP Statistics provides me with information about browsers, search engines, and the most popular content on my website. It records the pages visited, the time of access, and the country from which the access originated. It is a self-hosted tool; no data is shared with third parties.
I have a contract with Clickskeks (Papoo Software & Media GmbH). This company offers GDPR-compliant cookie management software. I have a contract for Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption of this website. Data transmissions between web browsers and servers are encrypted. Certification is provided by GlobalSign nv-sa.
